That hardly whittles down the candidates exponentially, but there’s going to be backlash either way when the DCU reboot’s roster is announced, with a smattering of the co-CEO’s repertory destined for either supporting or major parts.

One of the most outlandish theories to ensnare the MCU fandom has been percolating in the background for over a decade, with Laura Haddock playing both a Captain America fangirl in The First Avenger and Meredith Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Understandably, many joined the dots and reached the conclusion that Steve Rogers was actually Peter Quill’s grandfather, and even though James Gunn has denied at least once before, he felt compelled to do so again so nobody messes up his Guardians canon.
